How do I get started in the graphic design industry?

I have my degree but its been hard to get work or interviews? Every job I see is asking for experience what can i do
Here is a neat trick, file this away and keep it to yourself...
Creat a webpage that you can put some of your work on...having your work available makes it easier to market yourself...and it looks like you have more experience than you might really have...
Don't give up!
Apply even if you don't have experience. they may have an entry level position that they are not advertising.

This is the challenge of every new job. Ask your professors for suggestions. There may also be a job board at your university for your major. Those two are usually the best source of leads on jobs. You may also ask your college for a fellowship, and an internship.
