I need to send my portfolio to a client through email. Do I just send samples of my work as attachments? JPEG, PDF, ZIP file? Ideally you'd want to set up a small website to display your work. Then send people a link to it. It makes it much easier on them. You don't want to be cluttering up someones email with multiple image attachments or making them open a number of files.

Ideally a nicely designed CV with images of your work in it, it's worth noting that you should design it for viewing on screen rather than print. Acrobat also has a number of interactive features so you can have clickable buttons to go to next page or zoom in on an image, worth reading up on.

It would be good to have a website but that's not alw

ays practical or possible. yes. I would use jpgs and pdfs over a zip file (sometimes the zip file will be caught by the firewall and wont' get thru).
